Drawing on Bryan Cook’s fantastic images and street press archives from the State Library of NSW, we are proud to present Spirits Of The Hoey – The Book.

Published by fantastic Australian independent Melbourne Books, Spirits Of the Hoey includes never before published historic material, as well as excepts of over 70 original interviews.

This is not just a nostalgia piece but a call to arms and blueprint for the next generation – read, fall in love and maybe form a band, start a management company, start writing about music or get into the game however you can.

Designed by Dometrius Romeo, the book is like opening up street press, but less sticky. Full of original research and great images of the ‘who’s who’ and ‘who’s that’, award winners sit on the bill next to one hit (and no hit) wonders.
